NMTC Program

The New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program, established by Congress in 2000, is designed to encourage investment in low-income communities through the use of a Federal tax credit.  Investors in low-income communities can receive a 39% Federal tax credit in exchange for their investment. 

The NMTC program provides tax credits for business and non-business projects across the nation ranging from inner cities to rural areas.  Rural Development Partners focuses primarily on business projects located in rural America.
