The RDP Difference - Rural Development Partners | Community Development

The RDP Difference

Rural Development Partners (RDP) is a national Community Development Entity that focuses exclusively on rural America.  Although RDP considers all rural projects, it prefers agricultural businesses (food, fuel and fiber).  Specifically, RDP has projects in agricultural processing; food manufacturing and distribution; renewable energy using agricultural resources; forestry and farmer cooperatives.  RDP funds projects that are credit-worthy but need financial assistance and projects that create substantial local impact in severely financially distressed low-income rural communities.

Allocations

RDP has received seven allocations of New Markets Tax Credits over the last ten years..

  • 2004 - $44.7 million
  • 2006 - $60 million
  • 2008 - $60 million
  • 2009 - $80 million
  • 2010 - $77 million
  • 2012 - $70 million
  • 2014 - $75 million
  • Total - $466.7 million

RDP uses its allocations of New Markets Tax Credits to:
